Term 2

Welcome back to Term 2. Some may say the busiest, some may say the most exciting term of the year.

You will see from the overview that we have lots more exciting learning instore for Year 4.

This term the children will be experiencing amazing art teaching in the studio. Hazel class will be having forest school this term – Sycamore will have forest school in term 4.

As our practical curriculum has proved so successful, we are extending this into term 2. The subjects are yet to be decided – we are reviewing which ones will be the most exciting to include in these three afternoons.

Homework expectations

TTRockstars 5x 10 minutes per week

Reading every night – this can be a combination of reading to you , listening to a high quality text either read by you or an audio book. If your child wants to enter into the reading competition run by Mr Luka then their reading record needs to be completed daily and handed in on a Friday morning.

Alongside this, Atom will be set weekly to consolidate learning from the week. This could be maths or English or a combination of both.
